Day 1:  God Winks

Romans 8:31

Welcome to Day 1 of "30 Days of Gratitude."  The Scripture list I'm using is from www.biblequiltjournaling.com.  And this list includes a topic for each scripture for each day. Today's scripture verse is Romans 8:31 (NIV) -- "What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?"  And the topic is God Winks.  YourDictionary.com defines "God-Wink" as "an event or personal experience, often identified as coincidence, so astonishing that it is seen as a sign of divine intervention, especially when perceived as the answer to a prayer."

So my question to you today is "when has God winked at you and when He did, how did you respond to it?"  Now it's time to complete your first tag or leaf.  (I hope you had time to color in at least one tag or leaf.)  

Here are some things that you can do on your tag or leaf:

• draw God winking on the front, colored side of your tag/leaf
  
• write the word or phrase in this verse that means the most to you on the front, colored side of your tag/leaf
• if you have room, write out the verse on the back of your tag/leaf
• write what you're thankful for today on the back of your tag/leaf
