Seed

Corinthians 15:37 (NIV)
When
you sow, you do not plant the body that will be, but just a seed, perhaps of wheat or of something
else.
Paul
continues his commentary using the example of a seed growing. Our bodies are like seeds that grow into
resurrection bodies. Remember that
resurrection bodies refers to the fact that our lives are changed when we
accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. We
change into a resurrection people.
As you think about
today & yesterday's verse, consider the inner and outer person. The outer person is the shell, the seed that
you sow. The inner person is what is
hidden inside the shell, the part that rises to new life.
