O God of peace, we confess that we are not prepared for what this world brings us. May Bethlehem Ephrathah, the symbol of our salvation and the fulfillment of Your prophesy, represent our rebirth and renewal. We ask for your blessing, as we seek to grow closer to you. May our eyes be open to the arrival of your Son, Jesus Christ, and the hope that he brings to our lives each and every day. Amen.
